Short Bio
Hailing from Independence, Oregon, Doughpey is an artist who builds music through layered lyricism, controlled chaos, and emotional precision.

He began releasing music in 2016, but his foundation was built long before that. Raised in unstable conditions, moving through homeless shelters with a drug addicted, bipolar mother, writing became both an escape and a form of control.
​
That early relationship with language evolved into a distinct artistic voice. A voice rooted in triple entendres, buried references, and emotionally charged storytelling.

Now with years of live performance experience, notable collaborations and a growing independent audience, Doughpey continues to turn chaos into structure and memory into music.
